Nyle Head and his crew were so outstanding! We love our home, and when I told Nyle, I don't want any way for critters where we live to get in, he made our home so solid. We marveled at every step that was taken and would recommend using Craftsman Homes By Design to all. This company works like a well-oiled machine, though making everything perfectly to our desires. We still, after 7 years of living here, stand back and appreciate the excellence and beauty of our Craftsman home. Try them! They truly are the best!

It's my pleasure to share the excitement, joy and total satisfaction with the way in which Craftsman Homes by Design (Nyle Head, General Contractor) delivered our 'forever home'. The build lasted from October20 through April21. Being local, I was able to witness the entire project. Nyle and his crew worked diligently through all kinds of weather to deliver a custom residential build which was 'Four Stars' all around. The quality of construction, attention to detail, respect for our evolving ideas on what we wanted (e.g. centerpiece Jotul woodstove) and willingness to deliver high marks for customer satisfaction continue to impress everyone who sees it -- particularly the homeowners! The insulation is top-grade, keeping us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Every last detail was attended to with precision and quality (waterfall shower is resort-quality all the way). If I ever get the chance to build again, my first call is to Craftsman Homes! Ms. and I couldn't be happier with the ultra-professional outcome.

Just wanted to share our amazing experience working with Nyle and Emily Head, owners of Craftsman Homes By Design in building our “forever home” here in Oregon. Finding a builder when living out of state can be challenging but after landing on their website, a first meeting and then seeing the quality of their build construction we knew this was the team we wanted to work with.  Emily’s stunning design ideas meshed perfectly with our desire to have a modernized northwest style home. The build process lasted about 7 months and Nyles’ team kept everything on track despite a mega snowstorm in 2019 that dumped 4 feet of snow on the build site! Every subcontractor was on time and as I recall we actually moved in ahead of the planned schedule. We still marvel at the fact that after moving in to our beautiful home there have been no callbacks or “fixes” which is a testament to the quality, integrity and performance commitment they share with customers. Everyone ( really, everyone!) who visits us is impressed with the styling and materials selection. The flow of the home is spectacular, relaxed and simply feels great.

In 2016 Nyle Head built our house in Sisters.  Nyle approached his work and our relationship as though we were family members, treating every interaction with warmth, honesty and commitment. We were first time home builders and he addressed our many questions with patience and respect. If anything needed to be changed, Nyle promptly consulted us. We lived outside the area and we had weekly telephone meetings to update the work done, the budget and the next steps.

In every situation, Nyle and his team kept their agreements, staying on schedule and giving us excellent guidance on the many design decisions we needed to make. Emily Head even accompanied us to venders and gave us her valuable expertise.

When you live in a small town you want to always feel comfortable to run into your neighbors, including the business people you have worked with. We are always glad to see Nyle around town, and grateful for the enduring relationship.

The end product of his team’s excellent work, is a beautiful custom home that has garnered dozens of compliments from both visitors and those  passing by.
