Home Building Process
For over two decades, Craftsman Homes goal has been to help our clients’ vision of their future home become a reality. We know the process of building a custom home can be overwhelming. Starting with the original concept, then staying on budget, and making sure the project stays on schedule, our teams’ expertise and experience will seamlessly help you to build your dream home.
Design
Whether you have your own designer or you would like to work with our designer, we will support your choice and help you either way. Emily Head, at The Nest Design Studio, specializes in both Architectural and Interior design. She has assisted with most, if not all of our projects, in one aspect or another. She can work with our clients as much or as little as needed; from sketching exterior details to making selections on large items like appliances and plumbing fixtures. She will also help pull everything together with every detail, like cabinet hardware, furniture, paint colors, and even artwork.
Construction
Once all the design work has been completed and we have permits, we start building your home. Whether using our own framing crew or one of our sub-contractors, we will provide you with the best craftsmanship in the area. We take pride in our work and want to ensure that any home associated with our name, is of the highest quality in every way. Having the right people build your home is a key aspect to the success of your future home. We have worked with most of our sub-contractors for over 20 years, and we know what to expect from them, and they know our expectations. We ensure that your build is not going to cost more than you planned to spend. We also work hard to make sure every step of the build is on schedule and being done efficiently.
Accounting
Project cost can always be a concern if you aren’t working with someone you trust. We make sure that you are not paying for work that has not been completed, or materials that you did not receive. We also take responsibility for seeing that all sub-contractors are paid in full, and on time, which keeps everyone involved happy. We track every cost and make sure everything stays within your budget.
Finished Project
We make sure every detail is complete before you move in. Our goal is to have a happy, satisfied customer who loves their home. We take pride in forming long lasting relationships with people, as your builder and as your friend. Whether it’s a punch list of items to do on your new home, or going skiing with you and enjoying beautiful Central Oregon, we are here for the long run!
