From the initial concept through construction, our team guides you every step of the way—helping you stay on budget, on schedule, and confident in the process. With decades of experience and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, we work closely with each client to bring their dream home to life.

Design

Whether you have your own designer or you would like to work with our designer, we will support your choice either way. Emily Head, at The Nest Design Studio, specializes in both Architectural and Interior design. Emily has assisted with most, if not all of our projects, in one aspect or another. She will work with our clients as much or as little as needed; from sketching exterior details to making selections on large items like appliances and plumbing fixtures. Her expertise will help pull every detail together, from cabinet hardware and furniture, to paint colors, and even artwork.

Construction

Once the design is complete and permits are in place, construction begins. Whether working with our in-house framing crew or trusted subcontractors, we are committed to delivering the highest level of craftsmanship in the area.

We take great pride in every home we build and believe that any home associated with our name should reflect exceptional quality in every detail. Having the right team is essential to that success. Many of our subcontractors have worked with us for more than 20 years, creating a trusted partnership built on clear expectations and proven results.

Accounting

Project cost is always an important consideration when building a custom home, which is why trust and transparency are essential. At Craftsman Homes by Design, we ensure that you only pay for work that has been completed and materials that have been delivered.

We carefully track every expense throughout the project to keep everything aligned with your budget. We also take responsibility for paying all subcontractors in full and on time, helping maintain strong working relationships and keeping your project running smoothly from start to finish.

Finished Project

Before you move in we make sure every detail is complete and up to our standards. Our goal is to have happy, satisfied clients who love their new home. We take pride in forming long lasting relationships with people. From final walkthroughs and punch list items to staying connected long after the home is complete, we’re here for the long run. For us, it’s not just about building homes—it’s about building friendships and being part of the Central Oregon community.
